Based on an original story by Ryuho Okawa and directed by Hiroshi Akabane—known for numerous hit films including Before the Sunset (2023, Nikkatsu)—this film stars Nao Hasegawa in her first leading role. She plays Yuko Kawai, an ordinary woman who sells her shadow in exchange for having all her wishes granted, capturing the emotional reality of her choices.
